摘要:Let  be the finite field with  elements, andKan algebraic function field over  with  as its field of constants. LetSbe a finite nonempty set of prime divisors ofK, and  the ring of integers ofKassociated withS. In this talk, I will show a Siege's summation formula over  and apply it to problems including character sum, the least primitive root modulo prime ideal, and the counting of square-free elements.
