报告题目:Inferring cell dynamics based on single-cell lineage tracing data

报告摘要:Determining the rules of cell phenotype changes and cell division patterns is the most fundamental biological question in exploring normal tissue development and tumor evolution. However, due to the complexity of cellular dynamics, related research still faces significant challenges. This talk will focus on single-cell lineage tracing data and introduce two recent research works of our team: 1) We developed a computational method (PhyloVelo) that combines single-cell lineage information with single-cell transcriptome information to reconstruct the transcriptome velocity field and apply it to infer the trajectory of cell phenotype transformation; 2) Based on SMALT lineage tracing data, we developed a stochastic dynamical model to infer the dynamic division pattern of stem cells and applied this method to Drosophila developmental experimental dataand lung cancer data.
报告人简介:周达,厦门大学数学科学学院教授,博士生导师。2006年于华中科技大学数学系取得统计学专业学士学位,2011年于北京大学数学科学学院取得概率统计专业博士学位;2011-13年在清华信息国家实验室从事博士后研究工作。长期从事概率统计与生命科学、化学、能源等领域的交叉研究,近年来以第一或通讯作者在包括Nature Biotechnology, Matter(Cell子刊),JACS,Advanced Science,Journal of Materials Chemistry A,Pattern Recognition,Communications Biology,PLOS Computational Biology,Physical Review E,Journal of Theoretical Biology, Mathematical Biosciences等刊物发表论文四十余篇;先后主持国家自然科学基金2项;荣获2021年厦门大学田昭武交叉学科奖。目前兼任厦门大学健康医疗大数据国家研究院副院长、厦门大学概率统计系主任、中国工业与应用数学会数学生命科学专委会理事、中国现场统计研究会统计交叉科学研究分会理事等职。
