报告摘要：Gordon's 1961 partition theorem is one of most important and widely-studied results in the theory of integer partitions. In 2022, Capparelli, Meurman, Primc and Primc (CMPP) conjectured a beautiful generalisation of Gordon's theorem for partitions in which the parts are coloured by n distinct colours. CMPP left it as an open problem to explain the algebraic origin of their conjecture. In this talk I will first give a detailed description of the conjectures of CMPP before explaining where the conjectures actually come from.

报告人简介：Sven Ole Warnaar，澳大利亚昆士兰大学教授、博士生导师，国际组合数学及特殊函数领域的领军人物之一，他于2008年当选澳大利亚科学院院士，2020年获澳大利亚数学学会George Szekeres奖章，2021-2022年任澳大利亚数学会会长。他的主要研究领域为代数组合学、加性数论和特殊函数理论等，在《J. Amer. Math. Soc.》、《Acta Math.》、《Duke Math. J.》、《Adv. Math.》、《Mem. Amer. Math. Soc.》等顶级数学期刊发表多篇高水平论文，曾任《J. Combin. Theory, Ser. A》主编，现任《Adv. Appl. Math.》 编委。他不仅在学术上取得了卓著的成果，在学术交流、数学教育和数学文化传播中也做出了非常突出的贡献，他自2007年担任形式幂级数与代数组合数学国际年会（FPSAC）这一代数组合界最具影响的国际会议的执行委员，曾任SASTRA Ramanujan奖评选委员会委员，还曾多次担任国际顶尖数学竞赛，如西蒙·马赖斯数学竞赛等大学生数学竞赛的组委会主席。
