报告题目:Numerical simulation of a flow impacted by metachronal coordination between beating cilia
摘要:In this paper we propose an effective approximation method for solving a mucociliary clearance model described by the volume-averaged Navier–Stokes equations with complex mix-boundary conditions and flow geometry interacted by the solid motion. The nonlinear terms are resolved using Chorin's projection that discretizes the temporal variable with semi-implicit scheme and decouples the system to several elliptic equations and Poisson-type equations. Then, the spatial variable is discretized by the finite element methods, and the numerical experiments show that the fully discrete scheme is effective with the convergence order  and

(  ). We also give a biomedical simulation with non-negative stochastic inflow conditions generated by Brownian excursions, and the experiment indicates the effectivity, accuracy and stability of our scheme.

报告人简介:邹永魁,男,1967年生人,教授,博士生导师。现任吉林大学数学研究所副所长,吉林国家应用数学中心副主任。主要从事发展方程及分支问题数值计算方法和随机偏微分方程数值计算方法的研究,在国内外SCI检索的学术期刊上发表学术论文50余篇。2005年被评为教育部新世纪优秀人才,2007年被评为吉林省优秀教师。主持和参加国家自然科学基金项目16项。
