摘要：In this talk, we will present geometric objects that arise from the minimization of a nonlocal perimeter functional, called nonlocal minimal surfaces, and investigate some of their structural properties. In particular, we will discuss the "stickiness phenomenon", namely the strong tendency of adhering at the boundary of the reference domain.

报告人简介：Serena Dipierro，西澳大学教授。Dipierro教授的研究主要集中于偏微分方程、自由边界问题、非局部方程、变分法、非线性分析及其应用，发表论文80余篇，其中包括Adv. Math., Comm. Math. Phys., Math. Ann., J. Funct. Anal., Calc. Var. Partial Differential Equations., J. Eur. Math. Soc., Ann. Inst. Henri Poincare等数学权威期刊，并且他引次数高达2500余次（Google学术）。Dipierro教授现担任Math. Ann.编委。
