报告题目：Modeling fear effect of prey in some predator-prey models
报告摘要: In classic models for predator-prey interactions, focuses have been on the direct effects represented by predation through various functional responses. Recent field studies have revealed that in the predator-prey interactions, indirect effects can be as significant as the direct ones, and sometimes even more significant. This motivates revisits to existing models containing direct effects only. In this talk, I will report some recent results from our initial attempts in exploring indirect effects which can be reflected by various forms of prey’s responses accounting for the fear of prey against predators.
